My Story Stori Yangu is a platform and safe space for people with lived experience to share their stories and mental health journey and experiences to encourage other to share their own stories and experiences with mental health challenges.

Gumzo Afya-Akili Mtaani is a community-based mental health initiative that promotes mental health conversations within communities, identifies, empowers, and connects local mental health support groups in both rural villages and urban settlements.


By leveraging community knowledge and resources, this program builds sustainable mental health support systems at the grassroots level.

AFYA-AKIli ELIMU MENTAL HEALth SPACe

Afya Elimu Mental Health Space is an initiative that promotes wellness-centered learning environments in Kenyan schools. It provides access to curated mental health resources, trained peer counselors, and safe zones for reflection, dialogue, and emotional support, both online and offline.

WHO QUALITY RIGHTS TRAINING

The QualityRights (QR) program is an initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) to improve the quality of mental-health and social support services and to promote the human rights of people with psychosocial, intellectual or cognitive disabilities.

Therapeutic Photography

Therapeutic Photography is a creative psychosocial support program that uses photography to promote healing, self-expression, and emotional awareness. The program provides safe, guided spaces where individuals and groups can explore experiences, process emotions, and tell their stories visually, supporting recovery, resilience, and stigma reduction.

Hope to One – Sexual violence Survivor Support

Hope to One is a survivor-centred trauma support program for survivors of sexual violence. Delivered over 21 weeks, the program combines group support, individual counselling, and community awareness and education to promote healing, dignity, and empowerment while strengthening safe, informed community responses to sexual violence.

Thriving Minds @ Workplace

Thriving Minds @ Workplace is a workplace mental health program that supports organizations to promote employee wellbeing. Through mental health education, burnout prevention, coping strategies, and peer support skills, the program helps create healthier, more supportive, and psychologically safe work environments.

Mental Health Attaché Program

The Mental Health Attachee Program provides structured practical exposure for students and early-career professionals seeking experience in mental health work. The program combines supervised practice, advocacy, documentation, and reflective learning to build ethical, professional, and community-responsive mental health skills.
